DCC Encourages your Participation in North Texas Giving Day September 22

Dallas, TX, September 12, 2016– With over 65 years of influencing Christian servants, Dallas Christian College is thankful for the faithful support of many people and churches. North Texas Giving Day (NTGD), September 22, is an online nation-wide effort to boost funding for North Texas nonprofits in a one-day event. This is the fifth time that Dallas Christian College has participated in this event.

Communities Foundation of Texas, the sponsor of NTGD, provides a percentage to every participant, based on the amount that is contributed that day. In other words, the more that is given to DCC through this giving day, the larger that percentage becomes. Every little bit helps!

“DCC is undergirded by many faithful supporters. We want to be good stewards of every dollar that is given. North Texas Giving Day is not only a means for us to enhance your gift, but also to be a more visible nonprofit in North Texas. Ultimately, your support in North Texas Giving Day is another way to help us fulfill our mission in God’s Kingdom,” says President Brian Smith.

NTGD lasts from 6 a.m. CDT until midnight. According to the North Texas Giving Day website, over $33 million was raised on 2015’s Giving Day, benefiting 2,020 nonprofits.

The fundraiser for DCC is located on the North Texas Giving Day website at https://northtexasgivingday.org/npo/dallas-christian-college. If you would like more information about North Texas Giving Day, please contact Sue Arrington at sarrington@dallas.edu.
