DALLAS, Tx- Dr. Mark Fish, current chair of the Arts and Science Department, has been appointed as the new Dean of Admissions effective immediately.
Dr. Fish served as director of admissions for DCC’s non-traditional programs from 1999-2004 before being joining the faculty in a full-time capacity in 2005. He teaches United States History, History of Religion, and other courses and will continue to teach part-time during this appointment. Dr. Fish will also serve on the President’s senior leadership team.
“We are so thrilled to have Mark in this leadership role. He is passionate about education and is very relational; we expect good things from his leadership in the department” said DCC President, Dr. Brian Smith.
About his appointment, Dr. Fish added: “Unexpected blessings came with my appointment to lead the Admissions Team here at Dallas Christian College. The current team represents the best our college has to offer, making my work a joy. As a Christian Church Preacher, I look forward to renewing my friendships with our ministers and churches as we recruit our best and brightest Christian students for DCC.”
