POSITION: Youth Director
JOB CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time
WORK HOURS: 40-45 hrs/week
VISION STATEMENT: To give every man, woman, and child in Georgetown the opportunity to become a disciple of Jesus Christ.
EXPECTATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a youth director who has an abiding and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Must be able to disciple a team of adult volunteers so that they are equipped to disciple students. We are looking for a person who will develop relationships with students and families at the church and in the community. The ideal candidate will work with parents to help them disciple their own children and participate in the discipleship of the students as well.
Our new director will also oversee the organization and leading of the weekly gathering of youth based on a Biblical foundation, staffed with intentional leaders which fosters a relational environment. They must work with the executive staff to pass on the reproducible process of disciple-making.
Organize and oversee all special events for students.
