The Next Generations Pastor at Liberty Baptist Church is a dynamic and comprehensive role that should be filled by an energetic, driven, and passionate individual. We seek a leader that will influence, teach, mentor, and grow our high school and middle school student ministry as his primary function. He will also serve as a resource, guide, and ambassador for the preschool, children, and college age ministries. The Next Generation Pastor should be enthusiastic and committed to our church mission, which is to rescue people, show them what we do, and send them out to do what we do.
Responsibilities:
Must be a team player who is able to work with all types of people and personalities.
Be a DNA carrier – continually model the vision, mission and culture of Liberty.
Recruit, train and develop volunteers in each area of ministry.
Develop leadership teams to aid in planning and implementation of the plan.
Providing strategic direction and growth opportunities for leaders at all levels.
Create a comprehensive discipleship pathway for Next Gen Ministry.
Create, and manage annual budgets for each ministry.
Help design and build a depth chart for Next Gen ministries at additional campuses.
Plan and implement annual calendar events and special events for all ministries (including but not limited to VBS, Beach Camp, Egg Hunt, D-now, Fall Festival) coordinating them with the overall church calendar.
Build relationships with parents, youth, children and volunteers.

Time Requirements
College 10%
Youth (6th – 12th grade) 70%
Children (Kindergarten – 5th grade) 10%
Preschool 10%
Experience
College degree or working toward
Minimum of 5 years in ministry majority of which in student ministry
Proficiency in Google, Microsoft and social media
Exemplary oral and written skills
Strong analytical skills
