Are you a mature follower of Christ who is a team player with a proven track record in worship leadership and discipleship? Do you want to be a part of a ministry team devoted to making Christ known and worshipped in their community? If so, Gulf Gate Church may be the place for you! We are looking for the right person whom God is calling to grow our worship ministry. Salary range $45-55K plus medical benefits depending on education and experience.
ABOUT GULF GATE CHURCH
We are a growing non-denominational, bible-based church located in Sarasota, just a few miles away from the world-famous Siesta Key Beach. Our church vision is to ignite a passion for God in Sarasota that blazes into compassion for all people of the world. We are located right in the Gulf Gate neighborhood on ten acres of beautiful property surrounded by oak trees. As a result, we are able to host Sunday services indoors and outside. We are expecting significant growth as we are in construction of a new worship building!
QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Preferably 2 years experience as a worship leader in a church setting
Musical competency to lead worship in contemporary styles
Strong vocal skill, able to sing on pitch consistently
Above average instrumental skill on guitar and/or piano (other)
Ability to direct a band and group vocals
Spiritual ability and experience in discipling musicians to lead congregation in passionate worship
Management and administrative experience with ability to recruit, lead and build effective ministry teams
Experience in production and Ableton/loop tracks is a plus
Knowledge of Pro-Presenter, CCLI, Planning Center, A/V
Be a “team player” who actively participates in staff meetings
Strong gifts in large group communication
Lead a dynamic youth worship service for students on Wednesday nights
Direct and produce worship opportunities with children and adults for special services
Experience and ability in graphic design and media arts production
Fully embrace the vision and values of Gulf Gate Church
