El Porvenir Christian Camp is located in the mountains of northern New Mexico. We are currently hiring college students to help us facilitate summer camps for our 2021 summer season. We are looking for people to help us fulfill our camp’s purpose of providing a place where God changes lives.
We are primarily a hospitality driven summer camp, where churches and groups come to El Porvenir with their own programming, and we provide lodging, meeting spaces, food service and outdoor adventure activities to help make their program a success. The staff we hire for the summer will serve through one of the following positions that we are hiring for: Activity Staff, Head Cook, Assistant Cooks, Nurse, and Maintenance/Grounds. Pay starts at $2800. for the summer, plus room and board, and is higher based on experience or position. Staff training will begin on May 24, 2021 and the last day of our summer camp season is on August 7, 2021.
We believe that a summer spent serving at camp will equip you with the professional and life skills you need to be successful in whatever path they choose down the road. Serving for a summer at camp will provide you with opportunities to build your skill set in the areas of teamwork, communication, and problem solving, just to name a few. But beyond these “life skills”, you will also have opportunities, in a Christ-centered community, to deepen your faith in God, and build solid friendships that will last a lifetime.
