“Higher education is facing unprecedented challenges at a time when there has never been a greater need for leaders with strong Christian character to make a difference in their church, community, and the world. DCC is positioned and prepared to meet that need through innovative programs that are affordable and accessible to students.”

While you may think that this paragraph was written sometime in the past few months, it might surprise you to know this was actually prepared back in October, 2019—several months before the COVID-19 crisis appeared and dramatically changed our lives. These words were penned as the introduction to Dallas Christian College’s THRIVE Campaign, a bold initiative that aims to raise $5 million over a two-year period to provide scholarship assistance to deserving students, and to expand programs and make much-needed campus improvements. That was the challenge nine months ago, and it remains the challenge today.

Now, more than ever, DCC intends to thrive as we work to grow the Kingdom of God together. Your continued financial and prayer support of the College is needed at this crucial time in history. We envision a world where every community has Kingdom workers making disciples for Christ. Our focus is on equipping those students so they can impact ministry, business, education, social sciences, the arts, athletics, and beyond.

In this issue of the E-News, we would like to share with you the many ways that DCC has been working to accomplish this mission, even in the midst of a global pandemic. Our hope is that you will be encouraged and remain a faithful partner in this next chapter of DCC’s history.
