Job Title: School Headmaster/Associate Pastor

 

Location: 342 Amoretti St, Thermopolis, WY 82443

 

Pay: $30,000-$40,000 (Pay scale dependent on experience)

 

The Position:

Risen Son Christian School (RSCS) and Risen Son Southern Baptist Church (RSSBC) are looking for someone who has received the call to serve students, their families, and the church. This is a full time position and duties are split between RSCS & RSSBC as detailed below:

 

Headmaster Duties are (but not limited to):

Interact with Students & Parents
Curriculum & Educational Planning
Personnel Administration
Business Administration
Development of School Operations
Performing Day-to-day Operations

 

Associate Pastor duties are (but not limited to):

Supports the Senior Pastor in planning and implementing vision & ministry
Provide biblical counseling, prayer & ministry to people
Serve as an active member of the church congregation
Attend staff meetings, retreats, and other church functions
Welcoming visitors & encouraging attendees to become members and be connected with the congregation
Share the visitation responsibilities as requested by the Senior Pastor

 

The Ideal Candidate:

The School Headmaster/Associate Pastor should be someone who satisfies the qualifications for the office of elder set forth in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:6–9. In keeping with the principles set forth in Acts 6:1–6 and 1 Peter 5:1–4, the candidate shall devote his time to prayer, the ministry of the Word and shepherding God’s flock. RSCS and RSSBC are striving to be organizations of excellence and growth. The candidate must be a person who will provide effective Biblical leadership to facilitate and continue our pattern of excellence and growth. In addition, he must also possess strong communication skills and take on an appropriate sense of ownership for the organization.

 

Personal Qualifications:

Exhibit evidence of Christian character & servant leadership, in both the work environment and home/family setting
Have a strong work ethic and personal integrity
Doctrinally aligned with RSSBC’s Statement of Faith, mission, & core values

 

Required Qualifications:

Exhibit a clear Christian testimony and walk with Christ
Must demonstrate preaching and teaching gifts
Proficient in administration, leadership, teaching responsibilities
Must be able to reach and connect with students, staff, and the community
Must be committed to making and growing disciples of Jesus Christ
Must be positive, patient, friendly with a professional/pastoral attitude and demeanor
Must be a self-starter, able to anticipate needs without oversight
Able to focus on the tasks at hand and have sufficient follow-through

 

Preferred Qualifications:

An Associates Degree in Biblical studies
Strong communication abilities, both written & oral
Strong team builder and recruiter
