Acceptance criteria are based on a student’s academic history and character evaluation. We seek to enroll students who have a background of scholastic ability and spiritual mindedness.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to limited scholarships and housing high school students are encouraged to complete the application process as soon as possible.

ADMISSION
Applicants to the traditional undergraduate program must have graduated from an accredited secondary institution or satisfactorily completed the General Education Development (GED) examination. Students educated at home are encouraged to apply and are subject to the same requirements.
Applicants who do not meet some of the admissions criteria are encouraged to continue with the admissions process.

What are your admission requirements?
When making an admissions decision, we look at the application holistically. If you don’t meet one of our standards, we still encourage you to apply! Take a look at our minimum standards below:
- High School GPA of 2.5 SAT Score of 900 or above or ACT score of 19 (or meet one of our other qualifying test scores) or above
- Interested in a Christian Campus environment

What's student life like on DCC's campus?
There’ a variety of opportunities to get involved in student life activities while a student. Whether it’s attending a sporting event, being a part of student government, being involved with ministry teams, or showing up to a student hang out (like a super bowl party or a scavenger hunt through The Galleria Mall), there’s always something to do while a student at DCC. SAT | ACT | Other Scores
The criteria for admission is 900 on the SAT (math section – 450 & reading and writing section 450) or 19 ACT composite.
Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA): Mathematics – 350, Reading – 351, Writing – 5 or higher on the essay section or 4 or higher on the essay section combined with a340 or higher on the multiple-choice section.
STAAR Scores: Level 2 English III – 4000, Level 2 Algebra II – 4000.
TAKS: English Language Arts – 2200 (with a writing score of 3 or higer), Math – 2200.
CLT: Reading and Writing – 44 or higher. Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning – 14 or higher
Transferable grades of college-level course work in the areas of Composition I, Composition II, Mathematics
