| Purpose:
The Representative Assembly exists to serve the students of DCC by staying aware of student's concerns and desires, as well as staying informed of College issues and policies, and use this information to better the experience for the students while at DCC. The Assembly acts as the main decision making body for the Student Government in any College and local community issue or event. This is the body that mainly creates the changes the Student Government attempts to implement at DCC. Along with all this, The Assembly is mainly responsible for the social, spiritual, cultural, and academic functions which is executed by the Student Government.
Structure:
The Assembly is comprised of three students per undergraduate class - two on-campus students (one male and one female) and one off-campus student. In total, there are twelve Representatives. Please visit here to view the responsibilities of the Representatives. The Assembly meetings are Chaired by the Vice President of the Student Government with the assistance of a Pro Tempore. The Executive Secretary is the record keeper of the meetings as well.
