The Minnie Stevens Piper Foundation, a non-profit, charitable corporation, in conjunction with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts office and the Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation (TG), provides a comprehensive, alphabetical index of scholarships and other financial aid programs. In addition, TG and the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts office provide a Scholarship Database, "...the Web's most comprehensive, up-to-date, no-fee, searchable database of student financial aid..." for students of the state of Texas.
This extensive, searchable database is available, free of charge, to prospective students and parents, as well as, currently enrolled students. FastWeb's free scholarship search includes more than 1.5 million scholarships worth more than $3.4 billion. It's "...the most comprehensive and accurate compilation of national, community, and college-specific scholarships available anywhere." FastWeb also offers expert advice and how-tos on admissions, financial aid, selecting a major, choosing a career and more.
The College Board
The College Board, a not-for-profit membership association and a trusted name in academic testing, provides an extensive, free Scholarship Search option that finds "...scholarships, internships, grants, and loans from non-college sources that match educational levels, talents, and backgrounds."
