They held off Manhattan Christian College, as MCC was unable to overcome a four-run second inning deficit. Jacob Houpt got the win for the Crusaders. He allowed one run over three innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered four hits. Closer Dylan Hussey put away the final three outs to record the save.

Your Crusaders refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Manhattan Christian College, recording a 17-3 victory on Saturday at DCC. With five runs in the first three innings, they left no doubt about the eventual outcome. An RBI single by Chabriel Pizarro during the first inning fueled DCC’s offense early. Bryce Jones recorded the win. He allowed two runs over six innings. Bryce struck out four, walked one and gave up seven hits. Your Crusaders added four-run rallies in each the third inning and the sixth. In the third, DC Crusaders scored on an RBI single by Kale McQuillen, plating James Floyd.
