Manhattan Christian College falls 7-1 at the hands of DCC Crusaders

DCC Crusaders pounded Manhattan Christian College on Saturday 7-1 at Manhattan Christian in seven innings.

DCC Crusaders scored three runs in the seventh on a two-run single by Taylor Peddicord and an RBI double by Samuel Stampley.

Kale McQuillen racked up two RBIs on two hits for DCC Crusaders. He singled in the first and seventh innings.

Manhattan Christian College couldn’t get anything going as long as Ruben Salinas was on the mound. Manhattan Christian College managed just one hit off of Salinas, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his four innings of work.

DCC Crusaders didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the first inning when it scored on a sacrifice fly by Peddicord and an RBI single by McQuillen.

DCC Crusaders piled on two more runs in the top of the second. A bases loaded walk scored Tyler Sudduth to start the scoring in the inning.
