Joplin, MO – There is a saying in Basketball that is very difficult to beat a team 3 times in one season.  That proved to be true as the Crusaders of Dallas Christian outlasted the Patriots of Arlington Baptist College 91 -83.   Coach Charles H. Williams team is peaking after navigating through a treacherous schedule this season. Malcolm McCarty  led DCC again with 28 pts and 10 rebs.  Aaron Espinosa fired in 21 pts and corraled 7 boards while Robert Washington chipped-in 10 pts and snatched down 7 boards.  DCC led at the half 45-34 and shot a blistering 55% for the game.  They meet the Hillsdale Baptist College Saints tomorrow at 5:45 PM.

In the first day of tournament action on the men’s side, Dallas Christian defeats AFLBS 106-84.  It was Barclay over Faith Baptist 85-66, and Champion Baptist over Calvary Baptist 77-60.  On the second day, the Hillsdale Saints won over the Barclay Bears.
