Joplin, MO – Coach Charles H. Williams Crusaders got off to a fast start and never looked back in defeating the Association Free Lutheran Bible School Conquerors 106-84.  Max Berman led the Crusaders with 24 pts while hitting 4 of 9 from 3pt range.  Malcolm McCarty had 20 pts and 7 rebs.  Aaron Espinosa had 14 pts, Chad Herring had 12 pts/ 6 rebs and Robert Washington netted 12 pts and 7 rebs. ABLS was led by Tim Papillion with 20 pts and Steve Peterson’s 23 pts.  DCC meets Arlington Baptist College Thursday night at 7:00 PM in the 2nd round.  ABC has defeated the Crusaders twice this season by close margins.
