Lady Crusaders Basketball Off and Running

Tuesday night the Lady Crusaders opened up their season in Houston against the Celts of St. Thomas University.  The evening started promising with the Crusaders taking an early lead but the lack of experience and an aggressive Celts defense put the Lady Crusaders in a whole early. The final score was 75-32.  The Crusaders were led in scoring by a couple of Freshman, Nichole Perry with 11 points and Diana Jimenez with 9 points. Returning All-American Jessalyn Flowers had a rough night scoring but continued were she left off last season with 12 rebounds and 3 blocks.  The Lady Crusaders will be back in action this weekend in the SAGU Classic in Waxahachie, Texas.
