The Crusader men, of Coach Charles H. Williams, gave Central Christian College all they could handle before dropping a tough 84-95 contest to the CCC Tigers. Once again, a slow start ended in a 40-52 deficit at halftime.  The Crusaders actually outscored the Tigers in the 2nd half 44-43.  Malcolm McCarty led the way with 23 pts and 11 rebounds.  Max Berman followed with 20 pts on 4-7  3pt shooting.  Chad Herring and Keenon Bibbins were working tough on the boards with 9 and 8 rebounds respectively.   Coach Williams’ Crusaders return to the hardwood this Tuesday night in Waxahachie,TX against Southwestern Assemblies of God University.  The Lions are ranked #23 in the NAIA polls.
