Logan Robert is a Senior at Carrollton Christian Academy. He will attending DCC in the Fall and will be playing on the Men’s Crusader Soccer Team. Coach Rogers has coached Logan for the past three years at CCA and is proud to continue on as his Coach for the next four years at DCC. DCC Crusaders scored three runs in the seventh on a two-run single by Taylor Peddicord and an RBI double by Samuel Stampley.

Kale McQuillen racked up two RBIs on two hits for DCC Crusaders. He singled in the first and seventh innings.

Manhattan Christian College couldn’t get anything going as long as Ruben Salinas was on the mound. Manhattan Christian College managed just one hit off of Salinas, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his four innings of work.

DCC Crusaders didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the first inning when it scored on a sacrifice fly by Peddicord and an RBI single by McQuillen.

DCC Crusaders piled on two more runs in the top of the second. A bases loaded walk scored Tyler Sudduth to start the scoring in the inning.

Caleb Gibson was hot from the plate for DCC Crusaders. Gibson went 3-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Kyle Spurgin worked out of six tricky spots for DCC Crusaders. He pitched six innings and allowed one earned run on seven hits. Spurgin faced his most difficult moment in the sixth inning.

DCC Crusaders went up for good in the first, scoring one run on an RBI single by Jonathan Perea.

DCC Crusaders scored five runs in the sixth on a solo home run by Zachary Diaz, an RBI single by Taylor Peddicord, a groundout by Samuel Stampley, an RBI single by Kale McQuillen, and a sacrifice fly by Jonathan Perea.

Peddicord racked up three RBIs on three hits for DCC Crusaders.

Bryce Jones kept SAGU off the board during his six innings of work. Jones struck out four and allowed no walks and four hits.

DCC Crusaders didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring one run in the first inning when it scored on an error.

DCC Crusaders pushed across two runs in both the second inning and the third. In the second, DCC Crusaders scored on an RBI single by Justin Browning, plating Peddicord.

DCC Crusaders scored three runs in the fifth inning, and then followed it up with three more in the seventh. In the fifth, DCC Crusaders scored on a two-run single by Dustin Tarpley, bringing home Stampley and Nick Tovar.

Jake Rabbito signed his Letter of Intent to play for the Crusader’s Men’s Soccer Team in the Fall. Jake will be graduating from Grace Christian Academy in Flower Mound, TX next month. DCC is proud of Jake’s accomplishments and is excited to welcome him to our “family”. Jake is a strong Christian with values rarely seen in young men. These values have been instilled in him by his parents Phil and Jamie. Jake will be majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies.
