Crusaders Steal One from Hillsdale College

Dallas, TX - September 12, 2007

The men’s soccer team drove into OKC with a tough opponent in their path. Hillsdale, the returning regional champions, started off strong but were unable to overcome the continual pressure that the Crusaders put on them.

In the 35th minute, goal keeper, Damion Simmons dislocated his thumb as an oncoming Hillsdale forward slid in late to knock the ball loose.

The team retaliated by 3 different scorers putting balls in the back of the net. Doby Davis, Dalon Parker, and Michael Santos each scored one goal while Matt Wagner, Doby Davis, and Will Leigh tallied the assists. The final score was 3-1.
