Charles H. Williams 
Position: Men's Basketball Head Coach
Alma Mater: Oklahoma State University
Beginning
his second year as Head Coach and first year as Athletic Director at Dallas Christian College is Charles H.
Williams. His basketball career has taken him around the world and back
to Texas.
As a prep standout at Oklahoma City’s US Grant High School, Williams
helped lead the Generals to the most successful seasons in school history.
Williams’ collegiate career began at the College of Southern Idaho.
The Golden Eagles finished the season as one of the top ten juco teams
in the nation.
After transferring to Oklahoma State University, Williams was a key player
on the 1985 team that won the Big Eight Conference Championship. That
was Oklahoma State’s first NCAA Tournament appearance since the
Cowboys back-to-back National Championships in 1945 and 1946 during the
era of legendary coach Henry Iba.
A 19-year veteran professional basketball player, Williams has played
in the International Basketball League and the Superior Basketball League.
He has played basketball in many countries including: Argentina, Bahrain,
Dominican Republic, Germany, Greece, Mexico, the Middle East, Puerto Rico
and Venezuela. Williams who speaks fluent Spanish, currently holds an
active resident player status in Puerto Rico, where he also coached and
was the 2001 Coach of the Year for the Cimeba League.
Williams has been instrumental in developing youth basketball programs
throughout the country, emphasizing Christian values. Coach Williams founded

in 1999 in the state of Texas. His vision is to elevate the minds of young
people and assist them in their transition into adulthood.
