Campus Organizations at DCC
Students are encouraged to become involved in a wide range of activities
through the DCC community. Through service to others, academic enrichments,
and social relationships, students progress toward the goal of developing
their maximum potential. Student Government
 Students
sponsor many activities and projects during the school year. Socials,
intramurals competitions, assemblies and other events are planned and
carried out by the student body uner the student government. The organization
provides valuable assistance in the operation of campus-hosted social
and ministry events and also serves as a sounding board and advisory panel
for the college. Officers and representatives elected by the students
help make DCC a community of involved, committed and joyful Christians.
Ministry
The college provides special opportunities to exercise one's gifts through
ministry. Various ministry teams travel, leading congregations in worship
or teaching through drama, music, and preaching.
Others work among inner-city children and youth of Dallas. There are
special weekends of service or weeks of service in which students and
faculty lay aside classroom work for mission trips, participation in civic
charitable events, inner-city work, local church projects, work in children’s
homes, etc.
