DCC Campus-Wide Day of Service OCT 30
The staff, faculty, and traditional students will cancel classes on TUES, OCT 30, in order to spend that time in service to residents of Dallas County. All traditional students are required to attend. Breakfast will be provided from 8:00-8:45AM in the courtyard. We'll depart campus at 9:00AM. Transportation is provided on a first come first served basis. Sack lunches will be provided. Groups will return to campus around 4:00PM. One group will be working at the North Texas Food Bank putting together packages of food for families in need. There are five groups that will be work with the City of Dallas's "People Helping People" program which provides help with housing maintenance and upkeep for low-income elderly families. The "People Helping People" groups must wear long pants and close-toed shoes. No flip flops allowed. Please mark your calendars and make plans to attend. It will be a rewarding day.

Muslim Background Believers Conference OCT 26-27
The 2007 Muslim Background Believers Conference is Friday and Saturday, October 26-27, here in Dallas. Learn from former Muslims how to reach Muslims. Cost for students is $29.00 if registered by October 8. See Professor Gary Hardy, if interested in attending.

National Missionary Convention NOV 14-18

Those interested in attending the NMC with DCC: We are leaving early in the morning on Wednesday, November 14 and will return late in the evening on Sunday, November 18. Transportation and housing is provided at no cost. You need to bring meal money and $1.00 for registration. Space is limited. There is a sign-up sheet outside Professor Gary Hardy's office door (Room 202).

Summer Counselors Needed at Life for Youth in FL

We are in need of summer camp missionaries (Counselors) to help minister to youth ages 5 - 16 and we do have several support staff positions available working in the kitchen. The 2008 summer camp dates are: May 31 - August 15, 2008. Anyone can apply on line and print out all forms from the website. We do pay $230 per week with housing and meals for the 11 weeks. Kitchen staff pay is $250 per week with housing and meals for the 11 weeks. We are offering a bonus for those who know that the Lord would have them come to L.F.Y.C. this summer as an early commitment bonus. We will pay anyone who signs up with us a $200 bonus if their paper work is in and they sign their covenant by 12.31.07 or $100 bonus if they sign their covenant by 3.15.08. All bonus money will be in the staff member's last paycheck of the season.
