Description: The Women’s Volleyball Coach is responsible for organizing the Women’s Volleyball program.  The position conducts practices, motivates and mentors students, and instructs student athletes in game strategies and techniques.

Primary duty will be to coach a women’s volleyball team.  Duties will include, but not limited to, developing a training program to develop the team and playing a leadership role in terms of teaching and motivating players.  Other responsibilities will be to organize and conduct practices, pre-season and off-season programs, maintain equipment and facilities, and arrange for travel and meal expenses.

Qualified Candidate will also be responsible to know and follow NCCAA Div II rules and regulations, handle recruiting of eligible student athletes, monitor player’s academic progress.  The candidate will be reporting to the Athletic Director.  The candidate will also assist Athletic Director with booster club fund raisers, securing ads, player profiles, and individual/team pictures. Candidate will submit a budget and be responsible to work within the guidelines of the budget.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
No degree is required for this position.  The candidate should have previous coaching/playing experience at a collegiate level and an extensive knowledge of the game along with recruiting experience.  Candidate must have good verbal and written skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with administrators and athletes.
