Christian College Concert Choir presents its Spring Concert 2008
April 16, 2008 -The Dallas Christian College Worship
Arts Department is pleased to announce its 2008 Spring Concert, “Justice,
Peace and Tranquility.”
This year’s program is a joint performance of Ralph Vaughan-William’s
Dona Nobis Pacem featuring the DCC Concert Choir along with the First
United Methodist Church of Coppell, the Coppell Community Chorale, and
the Coppell High School Madrigals. In addition to the joint choir and
orchestra performance, the DCC Concert Choir will present the Canticle
of Hope by Joseph M. Martin.
The concert will take place on Sunday, April 27, 2008 at 6:30 pm at the
First United Methodist Church of Coppell, 420 South Heartz Road, Coppell,
Texas, 75019. Tickets for this program are $7.50 and are available at
the door.
The Concert Choir is a 30 member mixed chorus which has toured widely
in the United States, performing in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado,
Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, New Mexico, New York, and Oklahoma, as well
as throughout Texas. In 2006, the Concert Choir was invited to join the
Southern Methodist University Meadows Chorale in their “Grand Event”
concert which was held at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, Texas.
The DCC Concert Choir is under the direction of Mr. Scott Spies and is
accompanied by Mrs. Bonnie Graem.
