PRESIDENT RUBECK TALKS ABOUT DCC'S SCHOLARSHIP GIFT TO NORTH TEXAS FAMILY
DALLAS, TX - MAY 3, 2012 - President Dusty Rubeck appeared on WFAA's "Good Morning Texas" at 9:00 a.m. this morning to discuss DCC's recent gift of $300,000 in scholarships to a North Texas Family.
The interview was a follow up to a recent appearance on national TV series "The Doctors" where Rubeck presented six $50,000 individual scholarships to Diane Aulger, a woman from The Colony who decided to induce labor so her dying husband could meet their daugther.
"We give away lots of scholarship. We help a lot of people. But it was really a very rewarding moment to get to see the surprise on their faces and to know that we had done something their dad would be concerned about," Rubeck said.
Rubeck will be featured on the early morning news on CBS 11 between 6 a.m. and 7 a..m. on the "Texans with character" segment, which was tapend on the DCC campus.
