Win One to Lose One

On January thirteenth our women’s team fought an exciting neck to neck battle with Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College with amazing shots made by Meredith Hollis, Stevie Stanford, and Grace Stapleton, among others. The game ended in overtime with a final score of 68-65. The women’s team celebrated their first win of the season with Coach Doyle Moncrief on their new hardwood gym floor.

However, when Saturday came around the Lady Crusaders stepped back onto their court confident from Tuesday’s win. Although they fought long and hard throughout the game against the Baptist Bible College Patriots the women unfortunately came up short losing by fifteen points. However, they are still hopeful for their next game this coming Tuesday.
