Doyle M. Moncrief
Position: Head Women’s Basketball Coach

Doyle
is in his second year as Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Dallas
Christian College. He is also Coach and Athletic Director in the Dallas
Home School Association (Head coach for J.V,. and Varsity boys and Jr.
High Girls). His girls team finished second in the Home School National
Tournament in the 2006-2007 school year held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He is a skills/drills instructor with Elevate Your Game and Back2Basics
Basketball. He previously coached TEAM SOAR, a grant funded program designed
for Jr. High boys and girls developing their basketball skills and assisting
with their academic progress, from 2005-2006. He was an Administrative
Assistant at University of Arkansas at Little Rock during the 2002-2003
school year. Moncrief was also the Coach of Arkansas Express Men’s
basketball touring team that played against NAIA mid and major colleges
throughout the south and southwest from 1996-2001, with a combined record
of 12-24.
He was Executive Director for G.W. Carver College Station YMCA for 7
years and a P.E. teacher at Terry Elementary in Little rock, Arkansas
for 4 years. Coach Moncrief, in conjunction with Sidney Moncrief Basketball
Academy has been a Summer Camp coordinator with the Memphis Grizzlies
for 4 years. He has traveled from Miami, FL to Vail, CO doing summer basketball
camps for the past 9 years (camps also include Atlanta, Milwaukee, Dallas,
St. Louis and Chicago).
Coach Moncrief was a two-year starter at University of Central Arkansas
in Conway, Arkansas from 1979-1981 before transferring to the University
of Arkansas at Little Rock. He graduated from Little Rock Hall High School
in 1979. He enjoys developing talent and character with all players and
teams he has been associated with.
"There’s nothing like watching a player or team reach their
potential." His favorite verses are Philippians 2:3-4. "I have
truly been blessed to be a part of the Dallas Christian College family
and look forward to a successful year with our Women’s team."
