2007-2008 Dallas Christian College Athletic Banquet

The Annual Dallas Christian College Athletic Banquet was hosted on campus Saturday evening, March 29th. The evening was filled with much deserved student-athlete recognition, support from friends and family, and a special message from guest speaker Erick Strickland.

Erick, former NBA star and current Mavericks Business Manager, blessed all with a sincere challenge from God and his own personal testimony. There were over 130 people in attendance to show their appreciation for the student-athletes and their representation of God, DCC, and their families in and out of their respective playing arenas.

Throughout the combined seasons nine student-athletes were named to the all-region teams, eleven selected to the regional all-tournament teams, and four to the all-conference team. Seven students were given the special award of being chosen as NCCAA Scholar-Athletes based upon their academic success. Quin Reed was selected as a NCCAA 1st Team All-American for women’s basketball, making this her second All-American honor.
