Crusaders Tie Game Against Oklahoma Wesleyan UniversityDallas, TX - September 4, 2007 The DCC men’s soccer team makes an amazing push in the second half to tie the game against NAIA scholarship program, Oklahoma Wesleyan University. The team started off slowly in the first half with a score of 0-1. With limited subs for the second half they allowed a second goal in the early minutes. Down 0-2 the Crusaders finally woke up and began playing very well. On a set piece outside of the 18 the ball was deflected and bounced off of defender Matt Wagner toward fellow defender Will Leigh. Will took a good touch on the ball and put it into the opposite corner for his first career collegiate goal. Later on in the half, forward, Michael Santos while being sick was able to summon enough energy to cross the ball from the right corner. Spencer Burdett was waiting in front of the goal where he one touched it into the back of the net tying the game 2-2.
