ACCESS Teacher Certification

Dallas Christian College's ACCESS Program can help you achieve Texas state teacher certification in just one year. The purpose of the program is to prepare candidates for success in their first year (internship) of teaching and for the second state certification test: TExES Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities Test that will lead them to receive TEA - approved Texas State Teacher Certification.

ACCESS is a State Board for Educator Certification program approved in Texas to prepare adults with bachelor degrees to teach in public and/or TEA approved private schools. The program emphasizes the state teacher standards, the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for students and meets the requirements for the federal No Child Left Behind law.

Program Benefits:
